Man, what a terrible year 2025 was. Like, seriously bad. Many, many things went wrong in both my personal life and the country at large. The small things I could count as wins – protesting, getting a new job, yeeting my reproductive organs (to use a term that has been passé for years, now) – were direct results of what felt like near-catastrophic events.

The biggest loss, though, was my soul dog, Hooper. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in October, and the day after Thanksgiving we helped him transition into peace. He’s a gaping hole in my heart, and I miss him every day.

So, let’s burn some sage, wish on some stars, and hire an Etsy witch to help right the wrongs in hopes to have a better 2026.
